In His Steps

Tracing the Routes Jesus Followed

Compiled by a student of The URANTIA Book

PREFACE

The information contained in the following guide is taken from the Fourth section of The Urantia Book and is intended to pilot the students of Jesus through the experience of following in His footsteps on Earth.

The following sequence of maps trace the geographical routes taken by Jesus Christ during his sojourn on Earth, the places He visited. The maps begin at His birth in Bethlehem, follow the many paths taken, ending with His final appearances after the death experience at Golgotha. Beneath each map is a list containing the descriptions of geographical locations such as a town or hilltop. This index of geographical locations, the places visited by Jesus, is followed by a calendar date reference. Every calendar date, location reference and geographic name revealed in the Fourth section of The Urantia Book is entered in the order found. Additionally, each geographic location or town is given its longitude and latitude coordinate, referred to as waypoints.

By following this progression of the places, dates and waypoints in consecutive order, the pilgrim can follow the life sequence of Jesus and visit the exact location of each event. Using the Global Positioning System and coupling the waypoints together in a sequential route, it is possible to walk in His steps from birth to the final appearance. For further study enhancement, The Urantia Book page and paragraph numbers are provided for each entry.
